Leap of Faith

A few months ago I was going to quit my job and 

then they offered me a new position as the inventory police.

Let me just say that this job is a control freaks dream come true!!!!

However, the setting I am working in is a pressure cooker 

and many of the people are just there to trade time for money and don't care about the job they do 

which drives someone like me to drink...

OK, I don't REALLY drink, so let's just say it's drives me to chocolate...

LOTS of chocolate!

It takes a very aggressive personality to pull off the daily miracles
that are expected of me

and that is contrary to the kinder, gentler person that I am striving to become.

So..... I did it...

I snapped!

I turned in my resignation effective the end of August

...because I am too much of a good person to just leave them high and dry

 in the midst of the busy season.....

and let's be honest...

plan B doesn't kick in until October.

But that means I get to take a month off, to reflect and 

get my crap back in a pile before I start my new adventure....

I have decided to get my insurance license and work with Wayne 

in his agency he will be opening.

He is now fully licensed with all the special stuff he needs to have to move forward and

 we are looking at locations as we speak for our new adventure.

I am really looking forward to being able to work in a more calm environment 

and to build our own future instead of someone else's.

If feels good to have an end in sight and

 to take a leap of faith that this is what I am supposed to do.

Just 30 more  actual work days and then on to bigger and better things...

that is after a few weeks vacation!!!
